Transport Managers Certificate of Professional Competence Course
Applicants for a Goods Vehicle & Passenger Operators Licence must show that they are professionally competent or that they employ a Transport Manager who meets the requirements.
Persons will be considered professionally competent by passing the examination for the Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) conducted on behalf of the Department of Transport (DFT).

Approved Exam centre
We are a Skills and Education Group approved so you can sit the exam at our Training Centre on Anglesey.
You must sit a multiple choice question paper which takes 2 hours based on 60 questions. Also a case study exam which takes 2 hours and 15 minutes which is between 6 and 8 questions to compelete.
The cost of the course including exam fee is £1500.00.
A £500.00 non refundable deposit is required to reserve a space on the course.

Courses that we offer
Transport Manager CPC courses for road haulage & passenger transport. You can enrol on our highly successful intensive classroom CPC course.
Alternatively, we offer the Transport Managers course for road haulage & passenger transport on one day a week basis prior to exam.
There is a wide-ranging syllabus covering business management and all aspects of transport. All candidates need to be assured that the material they are studying and the tutors that are guiding the course are clear, concise, and as up to date as possible.
The course is classed as a ‘level 3’ qualification and is the equivalent of an A-level. Although there are no formal requirements to sit the course a good grasp of English and Maths is important.
Attending an intensive classroom course is a great way to study. Our TM Tutor will ensure you not only understand the syllabus but are also prepared for the end exams.

HOW OFTEN IS THE TRANSPORT MANAGER CPC HELD?
Exams are four times a year, March, June, September & December, these are set nationally by the exam board.
